Design change for Deutsch DT items – all caps black

Deutsch’s DT connector housings, as you know, are available in various modifications. Among other things, the parts are available with end caps and shrink boot adapters. Previously, these end caps and shrink boot adapters were the same colour as the connector housings. TE is now changing the default colour of these caps. In the future, these will no longer be delivered in the same colour as the basic connector housing, but in black.

The manufacturer justifies this change with an improvement in the CO2 footprint. The change does not affect the form or function of the parts.
