CSSB clips have three functions:
Closure clips for slit conduit
CCSB conduit clips are designed to securely close slit conduit, preventing cable exposure. You need about 3 pieces for each straight meter of corrugated tube and about 2-3 pieces for each curve.
Reducing function for hinged fittings
CCSB conduit clips also provide a reducing function for hinged fittings, allowing smaller conduits to be installed securely into larger conduit outlets.
Stabilizer
CCSB clips increase the creasing strength of the corrugated tubes. If you place a CCSB clip directly in front of a backshell or manifolder, the holding force / extraction force will be increased by approx. 20%.
